Preface

Welcome to the Statistical Machine Learning EVOP Course!

It is a pleasure to have you here, and I hope you will find the course engaging and informative. This course is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of statistical machine learning concepts and techniques, equipping you with the skills needed to analyze and interpret complex data. The main goal is for you to understand the fundamental principles of statistical machine learning, including key algorithms, methodologies, and applications. We will cover a wide range of topics, from basic concepts to advanced techniques, ensuring that you have a solid foundation in the field. It is quite obvious that the course will not cover all the algorithms and techniques in the field, but we will focus on the most important and widely used ones. By the end of the course, you should be able to apply these concepts to real-world problems and have a deeper understanding of how statistical machine learning can be used to extract insights from data.
